We may process account details such as your name and email; household and meal preferences; food likes, dislikes, restrictions, allergy information, budgets, equipment, and pantry items; saved, imported, and user-created recipes and their source URLs; favorites, rotation choices, meal history, and feedback; community content; and support communications.

When enabled, PostHog provides usage analytics through cookies and local storage. Platform-hosted checkout and subscription processing may receive purchase and subscription details. DinnerPilot does not store full payment card numbers when payment processing is handled by the payment provider.

We use information to create and improve household meal suggestions, make grocery lists, maintain your account and saved recipes, operate community publishing and reporting controls, process subscriptions, respond to support requests, protect the service, and understand basic product use.

DinnerPilot uses its hosting and application platform, Convex for application data and authentication, the platform-hosted payment flow for purchases, and PostHog only when analytics is configured. We share information only as needed to operate these services, comply with law, protect people and the service, or complete a transaction you request. We do not sell personal information.

We retain account, planning, recipe, and support data while it is needed to provide the service or meet legitimate accounting, security, and legal obligations. You can update meal preferences in My Recipes, delete private recipes there, and manage community posts from Community Recipes. Account access, correction, export, and deletion requests that are not currently self-service can be sent through Contact & Support. We aim to delete or de-identify data where feasible, subject to narrow temporary retention for those obligations. Deleting a public post removes it from public view; copies or records may persist temporarily in backups or reports.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online system is guaranteed secure. US residents may request access, correction, deletion, or information about our processing through Contact & Support; we may verify a request before acting. We will post a new effective date for material policy changes.
